http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1I'd like some info on this. I bought this because it seemed like a great deal. Haven't recieved it yet? Some of you who has attened Le Cordon Bleu, Is the make W├╝sthorf ? If so, I feel like I made out like a bandit. Thanks

It's probably not Wusthoff. The LCB schools stopped issuing their students Wusthoff kits a couple of years ago. It's more likely to be a domestic brand called Mercer or perhaps Messermeiser (sp?). Still for all that the kit contains and assuming you will want or use it all, it is a good deal.

Thanks for the reply. I found out the brand is Chef Revival. Executive series.

Look pretty good to me. Thanks again

As soon as you get em in..go sell em to a yup and get yourself some real knives. Forschners of course. Should have a bunch of money left over for the finer things in life. Impotent stuff I speaking here..like cigarettees and whiskey and wild wild wimmen. Sides they cut stuff mo betta too and are way easier to sharpen. Now just urging ya to think it over.

funny you should say that. I bid last week on a 24 piece set of Forschners. Retail for over 1100 dollars, went for $255.00 . I got out bid by 30 dollars.

Just recieved the kit and I am very pleased. The slotted spoon and some of the pastry tips are not all that good, But the rest of the kit is great!!

You were correct. It's a Mercer company that makes the Cutlery. Well balanced full tang, 3 rivets. Not real heavy. I like them alot.
