growing my ingredientsthanks, mezzaluna, yes our spring is just starting.one daughter lives in kansas so i know that the past summer has been very hot.that's why i finally was convinced to try hydroponics-the heat can overwhelm things in the garden when it's really hot.
i'm growing ingredients for some of the delicious recipes i have, and the ones i know i'm going to be constantly finding at ceftalk.tomatoes are big on my list this year-so many lovely things to cook but such bland produce at the supermarket.can't wait for some yummy full flavoured 'home growns'.
strawberries were the first thing to go into the hydroponic garden, now i have cucumber, tomato and lettuce, and chinese cabbage.
in the regular garden are more tomatoes and snow peas.
my daughter is also helping me.i like to teach her about gardening, organics and making great recipes.it's good for her to try new things and leard what works and what doesn't.
