Woo hoo!! A cooking forum!! What a great find. I look forward to diving into the archives of posts and adding new ones.

As my name suggests, I am a self-taught amateur chef. Hopefully I will be able to occasionally add useful info (perhaps on Asian cuisine). I am blessed that my significant other was born and raised in Thailand. I am also grateful to live on a tropical island with a huge Asian/Polynesian culinary influence.

thank you - I just hope I can figure out where to go & how to do this - I'm a bookkeeper & still have a lot to learn about this computer stuff

Feel free to start a thread of your own ("New Thread") and tell us about yourself- what you like to cook, etc. It's perfectly fine that you posted in OahuAmateurChef's thread :) but you can start your own here in the Welcome Forum (or any forum) if you like.
