Does anyone else use Lindt Couveture?

Hello and Happy Holidays,

I just found out that Qzinas only sells Lindt Chocolate out of their Toronto branch and you can only get it in a 22 lb. slab. I don’t need that much and the hubby would kill me if I bout it. Does anyone else use Lindt and if so, is anyone willing to sell me a smaller slab. Let’s say 5 lbs. I would greatly appreciate it.

Chocolate

Man Canada needs a good internet supplier of Fine Chocolate. We have a great source here in the USA but nothing up in Canada...Do you know of any internet suppliers that are any good...I have had a few people mention some but they arn't very complete...(sorry a little off topic)....

The only one I know of is www.qzina.com I am sure that there are others but that one is the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

I don't have the time to surf, but I'm wondering about the 22 lbs. slab. That sounds like a unusual weight. I'm sure you're right, but they may have is listed as a kilo which is 2.2 lbs.

I did look and most of the Lindt is in 2kg slabs. That is about what you're looking for, no?

Hi pan,

I talk to them on the phone today and was told that it was a 10 kilo slab. I think that is 22 lbs but I may be wrong. I'm not to good at converting the metric system.

I just don't understand why they told me that I could only get it in a 10k slab. Am I looking in the wrong spot? Where do I look?:confused:

If you need chocolate i carry Lindt, Valhrona, Damori, Cacao Barry, Santander and Callebaut. I too was fed-up with not finding any good suppliers here in Canada so i went on a few trips to percure suppliers for my needs and now i do sell out to others who would like the same chocolate or cocoa but only need smaller quantities.
