Hi all Food Lovers,

I am new to this forum and very excited to participate. I am from Chicago, the windy city! I absolutley love to cook and consiquently have semi-retired from my career of 30 years to enter Culinary School. You may be laughing to yourself at this moment with a thought of 'is she crazy?', and actually somedays I do wonder, lol. In any case, classes start tomorrow and I am full-time. WOW!! I am looking forward to the advice and support from this community. Thank you so much for the warm welcome Nicko!!!! :D

Welcome to Chef Talk, Lyn! I can sense your energy and zest for your new direction. Having done 30 years on my own career, some days I wonder if I wouldn't be happy going to culinary school myself. Too bad my back and feet were hammered by working on my feet already.
