Wondering how many ChefTalkers are in the Chicago area and would be interested in getting together at a local restaurant for some food and drinks? I would love to meet some fellow community members.

I'm surprised there's no one out there that has decided to do something like this in the past. Sounds like a great thing. Having grown up in the area (Elmhurst) and even though we have family and friends still in the Chicago area, sadly we have no immediate plans to visit but would consider an opportunity when we do.

Since this is a great idea (and asking if I could tag on to the post) If there is anyone in the Richmond VA area the same offer goes.:D

We're 90 minutes from the northern suburbs, and a few more minutes to the Loop.

Count me in on a GTG!
