My family owns a Mexican fusion restaurant in san diego, where would probally be a good place to find preppers and cooks? Most cooks that i have worked with in the past, have told me they have found their postion through relatives. Where else would probally be a good place to look?

Where in San Diego? Maybe I'll move back. :)

Honestly it sort of depends, if you interview someone ask them if they know anyone else who does prep or what have you. You can also drop by the Chef Works office store front and put up a sign or something.

Online job banks can yield some results, as well as taking on apprentices through local colleges if you have a certified chef already on staff, but many of the staff from these sources are not to experienced. . However, to find good, work experienced cook staff, you have to ensure you have an inviting atmosphere to entice them.

might be a bit late to reply and i don't know how well known it is down in So cal but craigslist.com awesome website for stuff like that and finding people looking for jobs. i think they do have a section for San Diego because they have one for just about everywhere. thats always where i looked when i was looking for a job in San Francisco. I was always able to find something that i was looking for.
