Hello Everyone,
Please be patient, this is my first time posting !!!
My name is Lisa and I live in Jasper GA. Ive been making wedding cakes off and on for about 5 yrs. and I love to cook and entertain friends and family !!! Ive done about 4 receptions and turned out good .
I have 5 boys ages 18-23 and in Sept. Ill be a nana ,yeah , My husbands name is Danny and he competes in bbq competitions, he just finished one in Dothan ALA. 6th place in ribs out of about 50 competitors

Id love to meet new friends and get some great tips :D

Welcome to Chef Talk, Lisa! You're going to find there are many people to "talk" with here about baking and catering. Your husband will find there are a lot of BBQ people here, too. Congratulations on your approaching "Nanahood"!

Thank you Mezzaluna, Your website is pretty cool ,you cant go wrong with hamburgers especially gormet !
My husband Danny has already ordered bibs for the baby with his bbq logo on them ,I ask him if he thinks hes using our baby to advertise , he says every one looks at babies ,but of course he was kidding , he better be:mad:

I am glad it is getting fairer. My perfered method of transportation is a Vespa scooter :cool: . I am ready to hang up the Camero & fire up the Vespa :p .

You mentioned Gatlinburg, about the only time I get on the east side of the state is to go to Scottish Highland games. Haggis anyone :lol: ?
