Red Fruit Leather?

I asked about this in one forum and now I can't find it again. I've not heard of this. What is it?

Some fruits work better than others. Go for raspberry, blackberry, or mango. Stay away from blueberry, pineapple, or papaya.

Puree fruit, and add 10% sugar (or just buy the ready made stuff that has sugar added). It should be somewhat thick, so you can spread it. If it's too watery, cook it down.

Spread EVENLY on a non-stick mat (oiled parchment will probably work), not too heavily, but not transparent either. Bake @ 200 for about 2-3 hours, until it's leathery. Let it cool before peeling off. ;)

You're welcome. I've been trying to catch up on the forums myself. Isn't it you who wanted the flat cheesecake, moroccan, and pistachio recipes or said you were going to try them? Did you make the preserved lemons? Did you ever get to make any of the recipes? :confused:
