Hi everyone...... I joined because I found an old link to a thread by Kuan dated 1-20-02 regarding Sugar/Chocolate in ArtSchool. He/She was watching the Pastry World Cup on FoodTV and wrote: “So anyway, I think chocolate and sugar sugar work should be admitted into the mainstream art world like pastels and oils. Is there anyone out there who goes to art school who also works in these media?”
And I wanted to let others know that I'm an award winning classically trained artist with a degree from Minneapolis College of Art and Design. I create one of a kind hand sculpted delicious works of art. Each design is an amazing life-like composition, a multi-dimensional work made entirely of cake, buttercream and sugar dough. It is my intent to surprise and delight my audience with sculptures that depart from everyday boundaries and associations thus creating rich dialogue around the edible art object. I would love this community's help and feedback. Thank you.
