Hello, my name is Joe...I am an avid BBQ'r ... more towards smoking then general BBQ. (low & slow) Specialty is whole hogs and briskets.

Happened across this site and I hope to get pointers to help polish my general culinary skills and possibly pick up a few great side dish recipes along the way.

Working towards a BBQ catering business some day down the line.....hopefully!

Hi Smokey Joe and welcome to Chef Talk. We have a bunch of avid BBQers here so you're sure to have some good discussions about your favorite cooking method. Take advantage of the search tool to locate some of the earlier discussions.

What style of BBQ do you like best? Memphis, Carolina....?
