Fried or roasted beef: What to do with the leftovers?

Last week i had roasted beef (it wasn’t so good as it should be) and wondered what to do with the leftovers. So i did this
  • I had about 0.5 lb. of beef and i mixed it with shredded cheese (i had about half cup of dried up cheddar).
  • Add some chopped carrots, mushrooms, peas and onion.
  • Took crescent rolls, and put mixture in the center of each crescent roll triangle and roll up.
  • I placed them in a deep pan and poured over with a broth blended with milk (i think cream will be good too)
  • Then i baked all this at about 350-400 for a 35 min

Pot pies are a good use of most any leftover meat, and many can be additions to other stews and casseroles. I'm using some leftover pork chops for a sort of gumbo inspired stew today.

Sandwiches of course.

You could mince it, add to some sauteed onions and chopped carrots, with a little gravy, top with creamed or mashed potatoes and turn it into Cottage Pie (non-lamb version of Shepherd's pie!)

Leftover meats are always helpful when making quick quesadillas :)
