Balsamic Vinegar

Is it possible to boil down a condiment grade Cavalli Balsamic Vinegar to thicken it?

Absolutely.

Just stop short of the viscosity you want, though, because it will continue to thicken once it's off the fire.

Sure you can, not only that but you can add a bit of red rasberry jam (seedless) to it and reduce to a nice glaze for poached salmon! I began this a while ago and it has been well received by customers. But then again I like the flavor of red rasberry.
