Hello everyone, name is Andy.

New to the boards, but not new to cooking. I have been in the resturant business for 13 years now. mostly worked as a line cook and just recently became a sous... I am currently enrolled and taking Culinary Arts courses and am hoping to open up my own establishment within the next few years. That is a brief background of me, once again, hello and good day to everyone.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am currently reading up on all the older posts and there is a vast amount of knowledge here. So many things to learn. It makes you wonder. I thought i knew a decent amount, but there are a few tips and tricks in here that i am needing to try out! i look forward to participating on these forums.

Andy, we have a pretty good search tool to help you zero in on topics you're particularly interested on. Otherwise there are about 7 years of material to look over. :eek: Hey, it's all good!
