Finally?Pics of my first Cheese Cake

Hi Everybody,

So this was my first attempt at a cheese cake. It's not exactly how I wanted it to look but it tasted wonderful and my in-laws were impressed. That's not an easy task. My FIL used to own a bakery so I had some pretty stiff compition.

Here is the recipe I used: Junior's Famous Cheesecake Recipe | Recipezaar

I toped it with lemon pudding and fresh blueberries. I wanted to use a lemon curd but I couldn't find any at the store. Oh well.

Thanks so much Betty. I made one for my mom the week after mom's day but I didn't get a pic of that one but my parents LOVED it. I think I'll make another one for Father's Day. I'll take a pic of that one.

I'll be looking forward to seeing the pictures.

I'd also like to share a site with you; cheesecakes | cheesecake recipes collection | cheesecake recipes from the cheesecake cafe | cheese cake recipes

There are a lot of really good recipes on this site; I've made several and I haven't come across a recipe that I didn't like yet. The Chocolate Chip Cooike Dough Cheesecake is to die for. I made it for company once and they are still talking about that cheesecake.

Hi Betty,

Thanks for the links you sent me. That chocolate chip cookie dough cheese cake sounds AWESOME. It’s no wonder why my diet has been at a stand still for the last few weeks. Why does the really good stuff have to be bad when it tastes so gosh darn good? I love to bake and I love to eat but I hate gaining weight. GRR!

Kelleybean that looks YUMMY!

I hope you didn't have damage from the storm yesterday. I saw on the news that a few homes were hit. Are you guys okay?

Hi Mezzaluna,

Thanks so much for the compliment on the cheesecake.:D

Nope, we didn’t have any damage here. The sirens did go off and there was a good amount of rain and wind but we didn’t even see the tornado. My husband said that it was passed us by the time we received that warning. What part of WI are you from?
