I'm a Food Service Director by title, That also means server,dishwasher and everything else I did before taking the title of Director. I am a cook by trade and training. Since I was 14 and made my first dinner for 100 I was hooked! I had help she was 75 ,and retiring ,so I jumped from dishwasher to cook ! The boss new what happened and ending up firing the 2 people who were cooks under this lady and promoted me all in a matter of 10 minutes! That was a lesson in food service I never forgot and I've seen it again and again. Now I'm at "the top" and nothing changes! I love this job and everything that goes with it as I'm sure eveyone else here does.
