Betty, wow nice lush yard. I grew up in rain forest country. Green's my favorite color. But now I don't do well with heat or humidity. Is your yard air conditioned? :D

But then the sun is the only thing that keeps the mosquitoes from biting during the day; if you are outside at dusk you had better have a good supply of Off or you will be drained of blood in a few minutes.

I’ve lived in this area almost all my life, we moved from New Orleans when I was a little girl so I really don’t have anything else to compare it to. I’ve never seen a dessert; except on TV and all the vacations that we have been on have been in climates very similar to ours.

Maybe on our next vacation I will suggest Las Vegas so we can experience a dessert; I hate the cold so I already know that I don’t want to go anywhere like that. If the temperature drops much below 70° I’m searching for a sweater.
