Thanks for sharing the article. It started off a bit slow but had me wanting more at it's end.

I would love to have the opportunity to try some of the fresh pressed California oils. Isn't olive season just ending now?

The couple of times I looked into buying California olive oil direct I ran into bulk orders only. Since I wasn't going to need a case of 55gallons...I gave up with my search. Has anyone got any suggestions?

I'm not sure when the season for picking ends. I think it's later in the year though.

You can go to the web sites of many olive oil producers and buy from them directly, or get a list of retailers in your area from which to purchase their oils.

I was a little disappointed to note that the web version of the article didn't include a list of the top twenty finishers which, IIRC, also included their web sites.
