Indestructible McD french fries

Here is an experiment:
Video: Video: How Nasty Are McDonalds Fries? | shizzville

I completely disagree with the conclusion which says that since McD ff don't degrade that is why it is unhealthy to eat. If the person had placed a brick of butter in a jar it would also be unchanged after weeks/months.

My conclusion is, McD's food is quite free on mildew meaning either because of adequate food preservatives, good cooking practices, good handling, a clean environment, sanitized equipment and tools or a combo thereof.

There would be a way to make almost any food stay pristine in a jar just by placing a cotton swab soaked with formaldehyde, let it evaporate for 30 min, take it out then place the food but I doubt this has been done. I think even dry ice left to melt would have done the trick also. The fries were well cooked, were salted, probably packed hot without any hands touching them leaving them free from colonizing molds.

McD,s food is unhealthy for many reasons but this experiment does not prove it.

I reckon I've got McD's fries under the car seats a year old that look new......but yes I concur - the video proves nothing.

I'd rather have the non McD's food anytime.

Not to mention the fact they were smaller fries than the steak fries from the regular joint and are cooked a little harder as well. I mean 3:10 in 375 will get those suckers pretty low on the water activity scale. Then you add in the salt (which can get massive depending on the heavy hand dishing it out), and I can agree, they become bullet-proof.

p.s. Yes, the video proves nothing. Although it was interesting how the McD's burgers were support penicillin better than the other burger (the black mold).
