Perhaps it should be mentiond that buffalo (bison) burgers can be a great alternative to beef. Lower in fat, cholesterol. and calories yet quite tasty when properly prepared.

Medium, salt, fresh gound black pepper, slice of raw onion and nothing else.

Pepper sprinkled on the meat first, then just throw on bacon and cheese and I am a happy girl!

As a kid, my mom would flat grill fresh ground chuck from the butcher shop and cover it with melted Velveeta. Some things never change. Today, my favorite burger is made with organic sirloin, covered with Maytag blue.
