1 lb squid
2 Tablespoons tamarin juice
2 Tablespoons lime juice
1 1/2 Tablespoons Nampla (fish sauce)
2 cloves garlic
2 teaspoons sugar
some red pepper
1/2 small red onion, slice thinely
1/2 cup sweet basil (preferably Thai basil), cilantro, all chop coarsely.
Clean squids and cut into bite size . Boil quickly and drain (do not over cook the squids). Mix tamarin, lime juice with nampla, sugar, garlic and pepper. Pour over squid and toss, add chopped sweet basil and cilantro, then red onion. Toss well and serve.
