Hi folks.
So I'm doing food demos for the produce dept of a large, bustling upscale market that features lots of local produce and organics. I can use just about ANYTHING in the store, and it's got an incredible selection of produce, cheese, fish, meats. Just awesome really.
I've been out of cooking for a couple years and I still have most my chops, but this is a new (and very fun) ball game, so far. With limited space and equipment to work with, I've been making some nice salads and some no-brainer stuff. I'm getting a burner tomorrow and plan on doing some sauted organic green beans, orange grape tomatoes w/ garlic and herbs.
I'm looking for a source for recipes that would be appropriate, such as being health, easy and adding some extra flair to drive sales. So I'm thinking of something like Art Culinare or ... I don't know, I could use some advice.
Tossing some slightly fancy little salads on the spot really attracts the ladies, I'll be definitely be doing more of those :D
So, any inspirational sources you care to mention?
