sno cones?

thought about serving house made sno cones this summer.
anyone out there have experience shaving ice for such an endevor?

No, but have you seen the Spanish street vendors in NY? They literally have a big block of ice and (something like) a bench scraper, and they scrape off a serving in a matter of seconds, then just pour on the syrup. Take a trip to Spanish Harlem...
