Thread Starter
Greetings to all fellow professionals,

As an Executive Chef and past educator I look forward to intelligent discussions about food, the trials and tribulations of running a professional kitchen, conceptual menu ideas, and announcing position openings in my kitchen.

I am also a recent author of a novel (primarily non-fiction) entitled: In the Shadow of Cooks. This is a book about the business, my personal experiences, what it takes to be a serious culinary student and a successful cook and chef. Available through amazon.com and iuniverse.com.

Looking forward to some great interplay.

It's good to be part of something so great. I have been catering for more than twenty years from England to South Africa to Kenya and now back in South Africa. I have never been part of a forum of like minded people so this is a great opportunity. I am looking forward to sharing and learning as I start my new business in South Africa providing gourmet meals to executives. Thank you:lol:

Hello Paul,
Good to have you on board. You're going to like it here.

Dont quite savvy "Primarilly non fiction". Colour me thick, but does that mean you started out writing your novel non fiction and it ended up being fiction? Or did you simply add some artistic licence?

Hello to you, Susie. You seem to have resurrected an old thread in this forum to introduce yourself. (No problem! :D)

I encourage you to post your request in the Professional Chef's forum; few of them (if any) will look here in the Welcome Forum. Let me or another moderator know if you have questions about how to navigate this forum.
