Hi everybody!
I just registered here today after stumbling upon this forum.

The sum total of my cooking experience, aside from cooking for my family is that I started as a dishwasher in a steakhouse when I was 16 and by the time I was 17, I was cooking there, LOL! Lots of fun, but I don't do that anymore.
I am a lampworker (glass bead maker) who just loves food. Don't we all?

I'm looking forward to learning lots and getting to know all of the people here. :roll:

Hi tribalgirl and welcome to Chef Talk. My brother started out busing tables, moved on to salad prep and now he owns his own successful bistro. Amazing what moving dishes around can lead to!

What do you enjoy cooking? Are there ingredients you particularly like working with?
