I'm new in this forum, just like in the catering business (here in California). I'm looking for a kitchen to rent with permits. I have a kitchen (friend of mine owns the restaurant) but when i applied for the license at the health department, they said: I can't do it, cant get shared facilities license, just for identical business not for mix. That's a totally BS but what can I do?
So I need a kitchen where I can cook 2-3 hours daily, 2-3 times a week. Any advice appreciated. Thank you. Varia
There is a kitchen that is used by other caterers in Pasadena. I can't remember the name but do a search online. It's a commercial Kitchen for about $35.00 an hour.
Here is one more

I am also looking for a certified kitchen for the same purpose. I am trying to become a vendor at Farmer's Market and need to provide this information to the Public Health Department. Please let me know if you find someplace here locally and I will also let you know if I come across something.
I'm the production manager on a new cooking segment for an upcoming You Tube segment. I'm in need of a white modern kitchen with a working stove, island, (preferably the stove in the island or away from a wall to make for better filming) for a few days next week. Not looking for a commercial kitchen as it needs to feel like someone's home. If anyone knows of such a kitchen can you please email me? GOod compensation.
Anywhere within a 30 mile radius of Los Angeles would work for us.....But it really needs to have a stove not against a wall (biggest challenge so far) so that we can film the food coming out of the oven. Preferable the stove in the island....
If you are looking to rent a kitchen to bake/cook and then resell your goods, we can not rent the kitchen to you. You will need a kitchen with a Food & Milk license.
Rental: $25 per hour with no minimum required
Kitchen Details:
- Commercial Ovens and Stove
- Walk-in Cooler/Freezer for your perishables
- Commercial Sink
- We are completely licensed under the vehicle inspection program - NOT FOOD & MILK
- Hours available for rent: Mon-Friday: 11am-5pm ONLY
- Included are: cutting boards, utensils, etc. - you would only need to bring special cooking/baking pans/tins and of course baking goods
