There was an interesting fowl farmer at Union Square Farmer's Market...had capons, game birds...I'd almost bet he'd have blue foot or know where to get them.

Santa Fe Farmer's Market has a chicken farmer raising blue foots....doesn't help you much....but maybe the same place D'artagnon is getting their chicken. They get their pigs from a Mo. co-op.

bet they have farmer's market website with info, bet the market manager could fill you in on all kinds of sources.

'The most famous is the Union Square Greenmarket, held Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays between 8 AM and 6 PM year round.'

i tried googling 'green market' and 'farmers market' etc. for union sq. no real results... ill will look into this further... thanks.

that's the one. Poultry guy knew me because one of his customers used to live in STL and shopped at my farmer's market....the world is trully small some days.
Capons are not easy to come by either....always wanted to try one.
