I like to cook mostly the "home cooking" type foods because that's what I grew up watching my grandma make. You know, fried chicken, home made biscuits, cornbread, pot roast, that sort of "comfort food" stuff. But since hubby and I traveled the first ten years of our marriage, I've picked up a few "specialties" from learning about them in different regions of the USA--like my killer cinnamon rolls and Navajo tacos.
My favorite food is seafood, about anything that crawls, or can be dragged, out of the ocean is fair game. LOL. And where I live, there are abundant white morel mushrooms in the spring (if one knows where to look), and a few other edible mushrooms at other times of the year that make life worth living!
