just piddlin in my kitchen later and i want to make a couple pecan pies using reg frozen shells...and i adhore that gummy bottom crust...could some of u help me out a little here...i think i remem ber baking the 2 shells 4 1o min at just going 2 put a extrta pan in them with a empty sheet pan on top of them to help hold the puffy pockets down...and of course i will dock it well first...dont have no beans..aint gonna get no beans either...then if i remember i fiil the liquid into a hot shell??? is this right? it a cold shell? i cant remember..ty all
