Changing half and half to whipping cream?

Is it possible to change/transform half and half to whipping cream? And if so, how?

My family rarely bakes or uses whipping cream or half and half and recently I just got a pint of half and half for one recipe and I still have a ton left. A frosting recipe I'm trying to make in the near future calls for 1/2 of a pint of whipping cream... I've got a good amount of unsalted butter in my fridge. I'm guessing there's something you can do to mix butter and the half and half to make it into whipping cream?

No. (extra text as software says no is too short for a message)

Use an immersion blender to make a lower fat "whipped cream" with half & half for dessert topping.
Probably won't hold up for your frosting though.
