for christmas i got a few bottles of dessert wine. i dont really drink much wine, maybe a glass here and there to taste it... can anyone share some recipes that i can use up these dessert wines? thanks.. happy new year!

If you like the wine, a gelee is always nice. It's the jello shooter all dressed up for the ball. You could do a sorbet. Then there's sabayon/zabaglione. If you don't like the wine, you're probably still not going to like it in most of those things.

i made some sabayon to go with some honey roasted pears.. it was good. thanks for the ideas. im using it up slowly. i just cant drink a whole bottle to myself.. :beer:

you could use it in a vinaigrette.. ive tried it out myself before and ive seen it done a bunch.. works nicely if you have fruit in the salad that can accent the fruit that are in the dessert wine.
