This looks like an excellent community and I'm glad to be here.
Just a little bit about myself... I'm a student in college and just sort of learning to cook, though cooking is fast becoming a sort of hobby of mine. I like to bake and enjoy making (and eating!) desserts and other sweets.
I participate in a monthly International Dinner Night: a themed dinner where we choose a country each month and cook traditional dishes from said country, so I may come looking for ideas each month. =)
