Leftover Cranberry Sauce

Thread Starter
i have quite a few cans of Jellied Cranberry Sauce left from the Christmas and New Year roast turkey. Its quite sweet (a bit tangy as well). We roast turkeys only on Christmas /New Years and so these cans of Cranberry sauce are gonna get expired by then.
How can i use them....as a salad dressing / with pork chops/ i dunno. Help needed.....

Glaze your tarts, pork chops, serve in place of cumberland sauce, and uh, some "regional" American cooking such as, uhm, cranberry jello salad.

Yes you can use it for a salad dressing. Put it in the blender with some dried onion, clove of garlic and some vinegar, drizzle the oil with blender on low. Rice wine vinegar works well here.

You can add some cinnamon and tiny pinch of cloves. Or, some chopped cilantro.

Spice it up with fresh ginger, cloves or whatever you like and make a sandwich spread from it. Sort of like a chutney.

Add some Pure Maple Syrup and use it for Pecan French toast, whole grain waffles or nut laden pancakes. I did serve a Napoleon style Monte Cristo several years ago and used the above example as the condiment.
