Greetings From Way Down South!

Just joined your site. I met someone @ a conference in Vegas who is affiliated with this site, so I thought I would join and give it a spin. I teach culinary arts in New Orleans. I have been in the food industry in some form or fashion for 24 years now, 14 of it teaching. I have owned my own reataurant, catering company, independant food sales rep, you name it. I enjoy cycling and eating.

Welcome to Chef Talk, Roux! I'm glad you met the person you did (the chef/instructor told us he was going ;)). You'll be delighted, amused, and rewarded by participating here.

I'm a retired teacher and I know how rewarding the profession can be. Still, I bet your students are more eager about your class than mine were about reading intervention. :lol: We did cook and eat a lot, though!
