I found the bread to be moist, with a hard crust. Slightly sweet from the raisins with a slight sharp taste from the caraway seeds. Check out the recipe that I reviewed from one of my cook books at my site which u can find on my signature below.
The reason I posted in here is because I am not sure if this is the best recipe for Irish soda bread, also on my blog you will see a question about making this with as a yeast bread instead of a quick bread. I was looking for thoughts and responses on this.
