Egg Breaker/Splitter

Thread Starter
Hey there.
I have been assigned an assignment where i am asked to design a device that breaks eggs and separates the yolk and white. The scenario is for industrial use so processing time needs to be considered. Any ideas, tips or general egg info would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Why not introduce yourself ? :D

I have no idea about the breaking part of it but for the seperation bit just have it drop into a funnel! A very narrow spouted one of course.

I think it's easier to separate after they eggs are hard boiled.

Ok cheers guys. I think the separation part will be easy. Probably use a funnel (thanks Clint) or maybe even a typical egg strainer. The breaking is going to be the hard bit.
