Take a DIP! - Page 2

Sounds like ur going to have a great selection.
Plenty of humus would be good, I like the way the morroccans serve it with plenty of cumin. Lots of flat bread and i would add a tray of raw veg cos so many are on diets, even at party time.
Have a great time

Alright Y'all,
This is the list of dips that I have so far, complete with dippings. And it is done on a math worksheet so I had to dig through binders for this little piece of paper.
Here it goes:
a Crockpot worth of queso- tortilla chips
a triple batch of guacamole- tortilla chips
a regular tomato salsa (mild)- tortilla chips
a regular tomato salsa (spicy)- tortilla chips
a chipotle salsa- tortilla chips
a dill dip (link) - bread cubes
a homemade ranch dip- vegetables
a caramelized onion dip (link)- potato chips, vegetables
a hummus- bagel crisps, vegetables
a spinach and artichoke dip- bread cubes
a butterscotch dip- fruit
a french cream dip- fruit

MAYBES
a bean dip
crabpuffs

Alrighty guys, tweak away. Feel free to add more suggestions, this is another rough draft.

How about a chocolate fondue foundation instead of a cake?

I was thinking about this very very hard.
However, the party is outside and I am not sure how it would hold up.

If you could find a way, it would be a knockout. You could place fresh flowers around it. It would be beautiful. Good luck!!

Smoked salmon, capers or maybe dill, cream cheese and a good splash of hot sauce?

And another suggestion - as a contrast to the tortilla chips, maybe a stack of soft flour tortillas cut into small wedges. And how about a ceviche of some sort?
