I'd like to try this fruit one of these days.
I would what it does to the taste buds to make everything taste sweet?

Wow! Just "Wow!"

That is what qualifies as cool to me. The fresh fruit sounds pretty awesome but the remanufacturing of the protein kind of freaks me out. At some point, I believe we need to leave nature alone. Sure go ahead and find a way to powder the fruit but using a known pathogen to produce the protein crosses the line for me, personally.

can it make seafood taste like cheeseburgers? It may be the answer to all my problems.....:D

That may solve rat's problem with the kids. :D

Don't artichokes also do something weird to the tastebuds? After eating artichokes, the taste of other food is off?

It is cool stuff! I got my miracle fruit from miracleuk.info a few months ago and love it. I wonder if I can make it into a dish or a drink...

Oh, God, not a drink! Having worked in Universities for ten years I instantly picture 19 year olds tossing back tequila shots and remarking that it tastes like kool-aid. Use this power for good!

This is incredibly cool. I want some of this miracle fruit.

However, isn't the pleasure of a sweet enhanced or even made possible by the presence of contrasting sour, bitter and salty flavors?

The compounds in this fruit might be enormously helpful in the realm of healthcare where diabetics who must reduce sugars and others who must take bitter medicine suffer with treatments and life style changes.
