the stopper in my grand marnier bottle broke. i was able to get the cork out, but how should i store the liquor? can i just put it in a plastic container? or should i find a glass jar to store it in. its like a half bottle, so i cant use it up too fast! thanks!

Store the Gran Marnier in glass. A good storage jar with a non-reactive top or a well-cleaned wine bottle, vinegar bottle, or something similarwill do just fine.

Personally, I try to avoid storing any food or beverage in plastic containers.

One of those beer bottles with a hinged lid (Grolsch?) would be perfect, maybe.

i would store it in a glass bottle or cannister, its much too nice to put in to plastic , and some plastic containers can give off a funny taste

Sounds like we're taking the hard way around.

Why don't you just replace the cork?
