My wife and I went to the food show in Seattle. We had tried these food skewers infused. I think they use essential oils in the skewers. We brough some home as samples. Wow there so delicious. We had a mango curry we paired them up with scallops, and mexican fiesta with some chicken tenders. We soaked them for 15 minutes and then let them infuse for 15 minutes. Then we grilled them both. wow so good. if you go to the website www.infusedskewers.com and go to the contact page you can request a free sample and price list not bad for the restaurant/catereers. There like 16 cents for the 6 inch and 20 for the 10". they come in packages of like 80 and come cryovaced has anyone tried these. I know you can purchase these in kitchen kaboodle and sir la tab. Let me know your opinions on what you think of these.

I don't think we have them here.

Have seen stalks of rosemary, stripped of leaves (except at the very top end), used as skewers for lamb and scallops/fish though. Its an interesting idea. Could conceivably use other types, like lavender.

I've seen them in clearance stores such as Tuesday Morning. They don't seem to sell well.

I've never heard of these before - cool idea, I'll have to try it. Seems like it would be quite easy to DIY - either by buying premade tinctures/oils or making them yourself. I've recently started experimenting with tinctures & they're quite easy to make.
