Recommendations Needed

Please help me figure out what drinks go with this menu. I need to bring drinks to a friend's home and I have no idea what to bring. Here is the menu -

Panzanella Salad
Lemon Risotto with Leeks and Artichokes
Roasted garlic chicken
Grilled lamb steak

All recommendations are appreciated!

Interesting menu. It sounds delicious, but might be kind of hard to pair with wine. You may want to bring a white (something maybe in the Chablis genre) and red (Bordeaux always goes with lamb beautifully, but for the others, you may want something lighter-bodies, like Beaujolais)

Bordeaux is exactly what you would have needed with such a meal. It would be a great choice for you.

I just came across a really good Tempranillo you may want to try: I think it was Martin Codax "Ergo", 2006. I have seen some unfavorable reviews of this wine online, but for about $11 a bottle I thought it was really nice.

It's probably too late -- but with artichokes on the menu, your options narrow drastically. A chemical compount in artichokes, "cynarin" IIRC, make most wines taste much sweeter than they are. Consequently, it's a good idea to look for something pretty astringent to go with the artichoke course. So for the salad through the chicken, I'd suggest a Frascati, Soave White (if you're on a budget), a Sauvignon Blanc, or a Pinot Grigio.

Lamb; Too many options to list. If you wans something informal and juicy, a Zinfandel or something with a lot of Barbera or maybe that second tier Tempranillo. If you want something big ... The sky's the limit. And yes a Rioja Classico would be great.
