I would like to know if anyone could recommend a good, rich cocoa to bake with..
Something easily found in the NY Long Island area.
The richer the better!

i like to use Valrhona cocoa powder. i think scharffen burger would make a good cocoa, i've never used it tho. you probably have a specialty cooking supply store over there, they might have it . or you could look online.

Thank you for this info. I just looked on line and found it to be very tempting. I will try to get it locally before buying on line to save the shipping costs.
I might try their blocks of chocolate as well.
