Birthday Party

OK, someone is asking me to to do a party for about 30 - 40 people. I still have a few months, but she wants a quote from me. She would prefer a buffet style, any ideas on a menu or even a cost factor? What have some of you charged for something like this?

Does anyone have a template for a sample contract?

well ask her what kind of food she wants. that really helps to have an idea of the type of food she wants,

I have charged anywhere from 15.00 to 30.00 per head, it depends on how elaborate the food and if you are required to just drop food, set up food , set up and stay to keep it all replenished and clean up.

Any sauteed chicken dish with sauce is good, marsala or piccata come to mind first. Thinnly slice breasts and flash sautee in a very hot pan when you have done all chicken make your pan sauce and pour over chicken. reheat in a medium oven 350 degrees Nice served with a brown rice or orzo pilaf and grilled veggies and a great salad with some feta and dried figs and candied nuts and red onion slivers.
