How long can dried pasta be stored before it loses flavor, texture, or goes bad?

Pasta will store longer than flour if kept dry. Hermetically sealed in the absence of oxygen, plan on a storage life of 10 - 15 years at 70 degrees F. Pasta should keep proportionately longer if stored at cooler temperatures. Ive also read that it can last up to a year if kept in a water tight container.

exactly on day after forever if kept away from water, moisture and high humidity. (the reason to seal)
Avoid storing in full sun and under fluorescent lighting for extended periods of time (it will destroy the vitamin A)

Condition:
if the pasta does not contain egg yolks or oil. Both of these will become rancid overtime because of the presence of oil or fat.

(although there doesn't seem to be such a thing as aged pasta, high carbohydrate foods like rice and pasta acquire a pleasant nutty flavour if stored for years (think basmati)... maybe this could be a new gourmet item of the future: aged pasta!!)
