good recipes for lemon pie

i really really a fan of lemon pie but never made it my self, do any one know how to make a great lemon pie????
i once eaten in a near bakery near my home they have this great lemon pie, they have a nice pie crust very crispy more like biscuit, the a thin lemon sponge cake and a nice creammy lemon curd, it was not sharp it has a nice sweetness in it then on top they sread whipped cream with a nice tangy sour into it, it was creammy but not too cream has any one know about it thaxs ,
do any one have suggestion how to make it??? thx so much :smiles::smiles::smiles:

Lemon Pie

Your description sounds very interesting, and could be subject for a little experimenting. I know that there is such a recipe as lemon-pudding cake. All ingredients are put together in a custard cup and when finished baking there is a sponge cake on the bottom and lemon curd (pudding) on the top.

Maybe someone else has an idea as to how to put this into a pie crust? Would the pie crust first be blind-baked?...or partially baked? before the pudding-cake mixture is added? That bakery must have the secret of a unique, uncommon way of putting this pie together

Think that perhaps a professional baker could figure this out. The concept sounds as though it would be delicious!!
