: Wisconsin cheese wins best of show

Congratulations to Master Cheesemaker Sid Cook for his achievement at the American Cheese Society Show in Chicago last week.

If you haven't read our forum with Sid from last year, it's worth a perusal.

Mezz, do you think they'll sell the Snow White Cheddar at Sendik's? Man, that sounds good.

It's worth a try, Kevin. We're going to try to hit the State Fair, so I'll look for it there. The prize-winning cheeses are on display (in the Wisconsin Products Pavillion) but not usually for sale. I saw Sid's winners there last year.

Still, there's nothing like a taste!

As mentioned privately, the goat cheddar sounds wonderful. As it turns out, one of our local cheesemakers also produces an award-winning goat's milk cheddar http://www.cypressgrovechevre.com/ch...ilkCheddar.pdf, and I'm really looking to try it and, if possible, compare it to Sid's.
