One of my first internet knives. Great blade. I mean *great* but the handle was a bit weird. Right now it just sits at the bottom of my knife kit.

I've owned one of these for over 3 years now, using it daily. I've never had to sharpen (grind) it, just an occasional run along a fine steel, and it's held a wonderful edge for everyday prep....

I got an interest in cooking when everyone kept telling me that some of the dishes I cooked were awesome. Now I know that doesn't make you a chef just like if someone thinks you can sing doesn't make you a singer.I am getting my feet wet with a hot dog cart and see how that goes and move on from there if it goes well.
Glad to meet you.

Good for you, Nightshift.
I have a friend who's in the hot dog cart business, too. In fact, he runs a school to train people to run hot dog carts! He's a member here, and his name is chicagostyledog. He was featured in a piece on the CBS Sunday Morning show twice this year. Let me know if you'd like to get in touch with him.
