Packaging for cakes

Hello -

We have a wholesale dessert company, and we are in search of a new way to package pre-cut cheesecakes. At the moment we are having issues with the cake pieces not staying together during deliveries. There is a product (not sure of the name) that serves as sort of a "brace", collar, guard, wrap etc... it is placed around the cake to ensure that the pieces stay together. I have made several calls, but no luck in locating this product.

If anyone knows the correct name and/or where I can purchase this product, I would greatly appreciate it! (i didn't see it on Amazon).

Thanks!

Try cakedeco.com, look for plastic collar.

I used to work for a chessecake factory restaurant where we received 200-300 sliced cheesecakes a week. We shipped them wraped in a paper collar, then plastic around the whole bit. They were also all shipped frozen.
