The seed of the plant is called corriander, the leaf is cilantro. At least here anyway. Can't speak for the rest of the world. I saw an interview once with Julia Child where she was asked what her favorite food was. She said she thought all food, if cooked properly was good. Then, after a pause, she said except cilantro. That should be thrown out the back door. Guess it's like common green curry. I love it and other people can't stand even the smell of it. That's how I am with Schilling cajun seasoning. Yuck!
