Egg, you can make omelette, meraine, have it fried,scrambled. It also is used in a lot of baking and can get used as an emulsifyer, plus make things like mayonaise.

Pigs are definitely near the top of my list, since I have no religious qualms about eating ham, sausage, bacon, chops, etc. Chickens too, not only are they good to eat, they produce eggs. And geez, there must be, oh, maybe 100 different ways to cook with eggs.

But how often do you fix a dish with no pork in it?

How often do you fix a dish with no chicken in it?

How often do you fix a dish with no egg in it?

How often do you fix a dish with no salt in it?


Perhaps another way to phrase this would be what ingredient would you miss the most if it were to suddenly disapper from the planet?

I have always thought that it was a cruel joke that God played on the pig. For any animal that should taste so good would never stand a chance to survive.
